Looking for a quiet life?

As our world becomes more urbanised, it is becoming increasingly noisy. This can have devastating impact on health and well being. Peace and quiet are essential for both our physical and mental health, but they are becoming more and more of a luxury.

We need to identify and protect those areas in our cities which provide a refuge from the hustle and bustle of city life and give us access to the peace and quiet that is so necessary for our health.

Join us for our webinar where you will gain an understanding of the adverse impacts of noise on your health and the importance of “Quiet Areas” which are protected in law. You will also be introduced to the Hush City App and learn how you can contribute to the identification of these quiet areas.

This webinar will be presented by Dr Simon Jennings, Limerick City and County Council, and Dr Antonella Radicchi, Technical University of Berlin, Inventor and Principal Investigator of Hush City

This webinar is hosted by Limerick City and County Council as part of its European Green Leaf 2020 programme of events.Time
